Question by 2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250r: Good 80’s Sports Cars for Drag Racing?
I am looking for a good sports car from the 80’s to fix up. I can’t spend too much. I love the older designs. I am looking to make this car into fast and good looking car. Like the cars that you might see in Fast and Furious Movies (Not saying there are any old sport cars in the movie series, but I want to tune it up and design it to be fast and look great). And I want it to be a manual transmission. I will be using it for track AND street use.

Mustangs, Camaros, and Firebirds. Light weight cars, RWD, and lots of room for engine mods (bigger engines, superchargers, turbos).

Don’t waste your time with some FWD 4 cylinder. Anything you can do to those engines you can do to a big V8.
