Good free program for movie making and editing?

Question by random: Good free program for movie making and editing?
I would like to start making youtube videos, but I don’t know a good program so I can edit the videos to do them in clips and blend it all together and what not. Does anyone know of a free program for this that I can download as a permanent thing (not a free trial) that will work for this?

free programs are good………for sucky people

you really want to edit like the pros? get sony vegas pro 9 or 10

adobe after effects

those are your best choice for being a pro with video editing

or you could do a free program called windows movie maker..it can only do so much though
