How different are the Arabic and Perso-Arabic scripts?

Like if I learn the Arabic one first will it make learning the other easier? How different are pronounciations?

in Perso-Arabic scripts there are four letters that do not exist ,in arabic script:

3.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%BDe
4.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaf
the pronouncation is almost the same, but farisi is totally different than Arabic you need make the same effort as anyone who doesn’t know arabic.
