Actually I am making an independent movie and I really need to use this places during my shoot. Do I need to go to the police station and pay, or how much am I required to pay?

The only permission you need, is for the location. Otherwise do like all move makers, build stages. Much more camera friendly. Police cars, you buy from the scrap yard. They don’t have to last 3-5 years, only one or two shots*. As an unknown independent you’ll never get into those type of places. Stages, stages and stages. I build over a 100 in 40 years of acting & directing.
