How do I make a movie in iMovie using still photos and an mp3 file?

Question by goldelox: How do I make a movie in iMovie using still photos and an mp3 file?
I’m trying to make a movie/presentation for YouTube using an audio file and adding pictures. I can’t seem to get either to iMovie. Is there way to import those files or another program I might use on my mac?

well did you try dragging the files into iMovie, or using the browser which is in the iMovie tutorial on the mac website to put them in there? If the browser in iMovie and dragging in the pictures can’t do it, then your pictures are in a format that iMovie can’t use, otherwise if you need something else, you should see if you can download Movie Maker for OS10 otherwise, the only thing u can do is change the picture’s format

PS LUCKEH!!! IM COMPLETELY DYING TO GET A MAC!!! Especially a MacBook, mostly JUST paying attention to MacBook
