Get as much experience as possible with all aspects of film, including cinematography, lighting, acting, and editing. Start working on small film projects such as music videos or commercials. Apply for an internship as a PA to get hands-on experience in the film industry. If you’re the writer of a screenplay, try convincing the producer to let you direct it.
