Question by trengen2: How do movie studios make their movies look “motion pictures”?
Besides the acting, I don’t like to watch movies that look like home videos. It doesn’t feel like “movie”. The feel of realism is not there. This is the case for most low budget movies that only got released on DVDs. What is the process that major studios used to make their movies? Is it the editing process or the film that they used?

the equipment and training these movie makers have is about 200x more than anything you would have at home. also they have been trained for years in lighting and how to use camera angles to make the movies appear more realistic.
