How do people make Sims movies?

Question by This time….: How do people make Sims movies?
In some of the sims 2 movie I’ve seen most of the sims do actions that I thought were impossible such as talking without moving their hands (sims usually have those windmill hands everytime they talk) and sims seem to react at the right moment; a lot of the stuff in the sims 2 movies seem impossible.

can someone tell if these actions are possible or just things downloaded off the internet to put into the game?

I want to make movies with the sims 3 (when its released) and try to make them talk without moving their hands all the time.
