Question by pinkpaws: how do they make motion picture and animation movies?
how do they make animation movies like Shrek, Despicable Me? i don’t mean the 3D i mean the cartoon itself, with really good and smooth graphics. what programs do they use? and is their a simple program i can use to learn and make a short animated movie? what programs do they use? do they dram in paper then apply it to the computer or do they draw in the computer? Do they draw each frame?

They use highly advanced 3D animation programs that cost up to 2,000$ . i would suggest for you pivot stick figure animatore, very simple to use and has a very straight forward interface. i use a program to animate called anim8r (animator) and if you want with stick figure animator just go download hypercam two and then record your animation, import it to windows movie maker and you can add voice over and sound effects. they do not draw each individual frame on paper, that could take up to ten years to finish, the one thing that they do is they make several concept art drawings which are what they base the animation off of on the computer. they do not draw each frame on paper but they do individualy create every frame, it is a long and tedious procces to create a feature film that is animated, because if you want it perfect and animated right you can only animate about ten-thirty seconds of footage a day
