How do you explain this – two leaders, two different countries, same speech, and same lie?
Question by Lawrence D: How do you explain this – two leaders, two different countries, same speech, and same lie?
This is how lies are propagated – multiple politicians repeating the same key words and talking points. Usually in their own style – but in this speech selling the war in Iraq, it was EXACTLY the same. Spoken by two prime ministers in two separate countries, namely Canada and Australia. Yes they are both part of the British commonwealth BUT the US is not, and the US was the lead aggressor. So who wrote the lie and how do they have so much power in the world to manipulate leaders of other countries? Moreover, how many other lies are they scripting for politicians to sell to the people? I say lies because a person does not tell the truth if his speech is dictated to him by another. There’s another word for that – dictatorship or tyranny.

Ah, you look too deep into it. I’m sure one of the Australian or Canadian Prime Ministers writers wrote the speech and the other guy looked over his shoulder and thought.. “Oh hey, perfect, we gotta give the same bulldrum shpeel as well, can I borrow that?”
