Greeting Card
No card upon your tips
Your name adorns no cover
What would the verses mean?
They speak of phony lovers
What could I possibly say?
It feels as cold as winter
No words escape my mind
Just scribbling of a signature
I fail at feeling fondness
No room for late remorse
A final drop is siphoned
No feelings can I force
I do not wish to borrow
Script from a sold out poet
They do not make a card
For what I need emoted

I have the feeling that whatever it is you need emoted, you will find words to convey from your own well of deep self. Nice write.
