How medically accurate is the show “House”?

Question by Cajunmama: How medically accurate is the show “House”?
Obviously, there are some things even I can tell aren’t right, like the apparently incredibly high rate of rare diseases in New Jersey or the fact that no one’s put House’s medical license through the shredder yet. But I was just wondering, as far as the actual symptoms and diagnoses they use, how accurate the show is. I mean, it all makes sense to me, but I have zero medical training and I know that TV and movies have a long history of making sh*t up because it fits the story line.

pretty accurate. it has a very large fan base so it needs to be correct about the things that people have. i love house . im sure since its one of the most watched shows the writers make it good and right.
