How should I make my class movie?

Question by ok_go_kid: How should I make my class movie?
Basically, I’m a kid in 7th grade, and I’m kinda known for being a whiz kid when it comes to tech. And if your a nerdy kid who thinks you can beat me and you’re wearing plaid w/pocket protectors, leave now, cuz you probably CAN beat me. (I actually have a life!)

Anyway, I was thinking of ending my 7th grade year by making a movie, really just made up of pictures of my friends and classmates that I took throught out the year from field trips and etc. I was wondering about how I should make it. I was kinda torn between a PowerPoint (.ppt) or a Windows Movie (.wmv) when it comes to the actual making of the movie.

So just basically kinda say ppt or wmv in your answer and if you could, say why you chose that one. Also, if you have some other kinda downloadable program that’s easy to use to make what I’m looking for, please suggest! I’m all ears. Thx Y! Answers pple, you guys always come up w/great answers.
oh btw (soz i didn’t mention this b4), i have a pc @ home, not mac/apple. yea…so any more suggestions?

If you can get your hand on a Mac, iMovie is a very easy program and powerful as well. I did a DVD for someone’s retirement party recently using iMovie and it was a total hit. It’s very easy to edit as well as insert a picture slide show.
