What is currently on the billboards? This holiday season, it is most likely that more films would be about the spirit of Christmas and the joy that this special season brings to people. Hence, more movies would most likely be those that would attract little kids and children-at-heart.
A Christmas Carol would be a good way to start with the box-office hits. Garnering millions with its opening, it is considered to be a top-grosser for this season. It’s a best seller indeed!
Oh! And there is the Twilight Saga – New Moon. It has garnered a lot of popularity not only in the US but all over the world.

Making these films and selling them is really big business indeed. As a business then, movies have to be a hit in order to get the returns from the producers’ investments. Hence, the industry has to stick to what works all the time to make a profit – a good story line, bankable actors, and a great promotional campaign. These are the things that a producer of the film needs to have in order to make money. A great advertising campaign is necessary to let the people know what is on, the film dates, and what can be a good movie to see this holiday season. No matter how bankable or great your story line, if you do not have good advertising, then your venture would not get the exposure it needs.
