Since there is nothing mechanical to get in the way of the workings of this gun the rate of fire is extremely high, an estimated 50 rounds per second. It would make a great airsoft turret to be mounted on the defensive wall of a home base. The price of materials is just over assuming the builder already has PVC primer and cement.
