How to make a home made movie to look like an old film, with all the flashing and everything? Is there like a screen effect you can add on the film afterwards? Or does the camera have to have some special function?
I recon, there should be a way to modify the film like that…

You can manage that in editing. You could also consider setting your camera for sepia. That alone would give an aged look. Then again there is also the matter of costumes
