I met this great girl recently and we have gone out 3 times and I have been over to her place to watch a movie (we are both in our mid twenties). I really enjoy spending time with her and she is such a sweet fun person. At this point I am sure that I have won over her trust and she feels comfortable with me. We laugh a lot and just have a great time and when I drop her off she always tells me what a great time she had and gives me a hug. She is extremely independent which makes her completely different than anyone else I have dated. Usually when I start to date a girl we feel a need for each other but this feels different. It seems like she doesnt really need to be with me but she calls me when she is free so when can spend time together. In all the time we have spent together I have never really felt the right time to make a move. Also I’m not sure if making a move would be the proper thing to do. She is very respectful and carries herself well so I want to make sure that she knows I respect her. What would be the best way to let her know that I am interested in being more than just friends?

I think I’m kind of like her, I don’t know what you are trying to ask though. If you have already gone out with her a few times, then she’s obviously into you. The only advise I can give since she is independent and definitely not needy is to make sure you come off that way too. Us independent girls do not like needy. However, even though we are independent, it doesn’t mean that we don’t want to find someone to love us and be with us. If you feel a connection with her, make a move. Good luck!
