How to turn off sound when making video(windows movie maker)?

Downloaded a music video for use in video, but I need the sound to be turned off b/c I have to put facts up during the video so I was just going to use an MP3. Is there a way to accomplish this? Or is there a way that I could just use the video and put the facts up while it’s playing?

I think on the timeline you can click the + on the left by video, and see it by its three components (video, transition, audio) and if you right click the audio bar there’s choices to adjust the volume or mute the clip.

Then below that is the audio/music space where it looks like you can add your own narrative or a different mp3 for the video and it should work.

Save your work often. WMM likes to crash a lot.
