The first step in sales is to have the patient comfortable enough with you to open up and talk with you about their personal concerns. They need to be open to you so they will hear you and respond to what you’re saying. Develop a bond with your patient by greeting them with a smile and using their name throughout the conversation. Be happy to see them and use eye contact. Ask questions and show interest in them as a person as well as a patient. You are looking for commonalities with that patient so they can relate to you.
