Question by : I have to make a movie trailer for “The Sound and the Fury”?
For our semester project, our English class has to make a movie trailer for a classic novel assigned to us. I was given “The Sound and the Fury” by William Faulkner. You can shoo the trailer yourself or use other pictures and clips from online. I had an idea to do sort of like a Paranormal Activity sort of thing where they have cameras set up in the house where everyone can see all of the stuff that happens (of course it would be a modern version of the novel). Or I was going to get movie clips and put them together. So what do you think I should do? If I should do the second option, who should play the characters? Please be kind. I’m not asking you to do my homework for me. I’m just in need of some slight assistance. Thank you!

I like the movie clips idea better.
You don’t necessarily focus on all of the characters. You could do like main events in the book/focus on showing how dysfunctional the family is.
Examples:
Show
-Caddy climbing out of window
-Jason running after Caddy & her lover
-Quentin’s suicide
-Benjy chasing after school girls OR him being tormented by luster, tp, versh
-Mom complaining
-Dad being an alcoholic but still loving his kids
-Dilsey making dinner for everyone
