Question by La Lulu: I need some information about Sims movie making?
I watched a video on You Tube and it was done with sims. Now I know absolutely nothing about sims. I had never even heard of Sims until I saw the video! I am not a techie person but am very interested in learning to do this. Is a Sims video game the same thing? I see them for sale on ebay. I have windows XP and my pc is about 4 years old, with just 60GB/256MB. Does this preclude me from being able to do this? What do I need to buy? What do I need to download? Any info or kind advice is much appreciated! I’d like to let my inner “Spielberg” out! Thanks lulu

you’re gonna need the sims 2 base game, expansion packs aren’t needed but they can be useful, they give more interactions and stuff. you may want to think about getting a new pc or at least updating the driver, the sims 2 works kinda slow on old pcs, which doesn’t help with movie making.

and just to let you know, it takes a lot of hard work to make a sims 2 movie, especially since you’ve never played the game before. you’re gonna have to get used to playing the game and working the camera before you start making a video. oh and the sims 3 is about to be released, you may want to think about getting that instead of the sims 2.
