I remember watching a movie a long time ago about a young woman who had a child but gave it to her friend to raise so she could enter the Miss.America(or some other beauty pageant-type thing) contest. During the contest when it was her turn to make a speech she ended up revealing to the child that she was the real mother and she couldn’t lie about it anymore.
I would really like to know what movie this is so I can rewatch it again. 🙂
