I saw the Jesus Camp movie. Were you offended?
Question by Johnny S.: I saw the Jesus Camp movie. Were you offended?
First of all, it focused on the Pentecostals. Now don’t get me wrong I’ve got a lot of firends in those churches, but they are kind of like the goofy cousion at the family reunion that makes you think, dang. I mean, we love them, but yes they are eccentric.
And I think that kids should learn about abortion. Would it be wrong to teach pre-civil war era kids that slavery was wrong?
And there is nothing wrong with teaching kids to pray for their leaders.
Yes, the crazy lady in the movie took it too far but she would be the exception and not the rule in any Christian circles I’ve ever been a part of.
Good question peacetimewarrior
I was told at the age of 6 or 7 about abortion. I want to ask my mom what it was. She said if a mother doesn’t want to have her baby, she can go to a doctor and have it killed. I was horrified. But it is the truth.
