The camera has a mic built in, but I don’t want to use it, I’d rather use the better quality Samson C01u usb microphone I have. So when I’m playing guitar, how do I use the Samson for audio and the Kodak for video. I can’t “disable” the microphone inside the camera. Is there any solutions to this?

Cover up the opening for the mic that’s built into the camera with a piece of weather-stripping foam. Then just mount the camera on one of those little desk-top tripods like you can get at the dollar store and put the mic on a real mic stand aimed at the 12th fret of the guitar.
