The camera has a mic built in, but I don’t want to use it, I’d rather use the better quality Samson C01u usb microphone I have. So when I’m playing guitar, how do I use the Samson for audio and the Kodak for video. I can’t “disable” the microphone inside the camera. Is there any solutions to this?

Only if you can achieve an absolute frame match while editing. If both cameras record at say exactly
30-fps, then yes you should be able to merge in the edit bay. If they are different, you’re sunk.
