So, I find more interest in Dragon, Merlin, Mythology books than others. Lately all this other books have been adapted to movies. Why hasn’t anyone tried to do one movie based on this novels?

Unworthy book to movie = minimal labor & investment = fast cash for movie makers.
Worthy book to movie = lots of labor, time, and funding = delayed gratification for movie makers’ wallets.
