If you aren’t interested in reading something at first, what would change your mind?
Question by cecilia: If you aren’t interested in reading something at first, what would change your mind?
For example:
*Is it the title of the book?
*Is it the type of media (movie or magazine vs. novel)?
*Is it the reviews you’ve heard about the article or novel?
*Is it by making some connection to a life experience?
*Is it something else that motivates you to read it?
I’m more interested in what gets students to read “boring” literary texts, like the classics 😉

I think it would be if I read a review about it that made it sound better then I expected. Or if someone who likes similar books as I did read the book and liked it.
