Question by Alex N: In the beginning of the movie Valkyrie, why does the Nazi Base get attacked by another Nazi bases Air force?
Am i Missing something? I just watched Valkyrie on PSNVideo and at the start of the film where Tom Cruise is writing in his War Journal and he steps out and asks his Superior to pack up and leave the camp site, Why does German Airplanes start attacking their camp ? It doesn’t make sense, i thought Hitler wanted more troops to help him fight, instead he tries to kill one of his own army bases?

there was no clear cut reason why they attacked them in that scene. It was to show you what the war was like and also to explain tom cruises injury with his eye.
