WMM hates me, and lags, and I cant UPDATE it because Microsoft just hates my guts, so is there any FREE! read it, F R E E movie making software that wont virus up my computer or lag HORRIBLY or crash or make me pay or etc? Thanks in advance!

There are really no good movie editors made for windows. All of the best stuff is made for mac and that is why you see a lot of macs in movies. To answer your question, a good freeware movie editor for windows is virtualDub. Its going to be a little bit more complicated to use than movie maker but it can do a lot more. A great resource for movie editing and making DVD is doom9.net. They will help you with how to use virtualDub and have list of other software that might be useful for you.
