Question by andrew b: is there any video freeware program or way with movie maker to…?
ok i want to be able to add images or clips of other videos in on my video. like make an image appear on top of the video or text anywhere on screen. i dont mind using a freeware (i dont really mind using a program u gots to pay for either if its not too expensive) i just want to be able to do this. if i havent been very clear i want to make an image or video appear on a video like on the news how it pops up over their shoulder. if you give me a freeware program please dont give me one with a virus. also if there is a way in windows movie maker i can use that would be nice it is my current program.

What your thinking of is called picture in picture
where you have a video in the back ground playing with a picture or video at the side

i use pinnacle studio ultimate with holywood extras and i spent £170 but i think that would probually be to much but you can use many different programs a program i used before pinnacle was ulead and then i upgrade because im into video editing software more here are some links

just search picture in picture on youtube and u should get them

but if u use video software alot i would consider you to get pinnacle ultimate
