I’m at this point in my life (mid 20’s) where I’m just enjoying, learning more about myself and content with being single. I was always the good girl, never had those “one night stand” stuff, had few relationships but was single/dating most my life. I’m coming out of the “mr. right now” phase and transitioning into “mr. right”. I’m not rushing it at all but I gotta admit, I do dream (and learn) everyday of what I really want and need in a guy/partner.
I’m becoming more into my own. I’m being the fearless 8 year old I once was when I had my hobbies, opinions, stood up for myself… just being unapologetic for who I am (w/o being a b*tch or dramatic) and I’m lovin it. With that, I have “crushes” or think many guys are cute. If I see a cute guy, I’ll just say it (but without being creepy) and it’s not like I’ll do anything. Let’s say this: if I see someone i’m attracted to – whether he’s on TV, in person, or whatever, I know and there are times I’ll make note of it or just keep it in my head. In person, I’m not gonna be weird and say it to him (eww no) but the people I’m with (at that moment) will hear it. I get this rep now for being “boy crazy” and I hate this connotation because I sound like some love-obsessed teenage girl… I’m just being single. I’m allowed to do this, right? For ex: I went to watch that “Glee” movie and saw 2 of my favorite cute guys and did a little cheer, made a little comment and once I was in the car and cutely and without a care said, “ooh cute guys. hello”. I didn’t yell out of the car, just said it quietly. My friend’s boyfriend has now tagged me “boy crazy” but that’s not the case… besides, they have their own problems too… they’re in a “it’s complicated” relationship, confused about their feelings and if they should just get married next… been together for years…they “love each other” but not “in love”… so whatever…
