Keat Hwa: The making of ‘Only Us’

Keat Hwa（吉华）is a well known school in the city of Alor Setar, Kedah. Currently, Keat Hwa consists total of 6 schools; three primary schools: Keat Hwa (H),Keat Hwa (K) and Keat Hwa (S), two secondary schools: Keat Hwa 1 and Keat Hwa 2, and one private secondary school, Keat Hwa (P). This year, Keat Hwa will celebrate its 100 years of existence. A centenary celebration committee had been setup under the Keat Hwa Alumni Organization and had its official launching on 31st December 2008. For this anniversary, a series of celebration will be organized the whole year, culminating with events from 28th till 31st July 2011. The celebrations include a music concert by ex-Keat Hwa students who are well known in the entertainment field, a Teachers day celebration with the participation of 6 schools, publication of books written by ex-Keat Hwa students, grand parade during the peak celebration, a grand dinner which the organisers expecting to bring 2500 people together and all sorts of Chinese traditional cultural activities. One of the most attention-catching events, is the release of the song album for Keat Hwa Centenary Celebration. The Keat Hwa Centenary Song Album consists of seven songs. All the songs have been composed and produced by ex-Keat Hwa students from all over place either in the country or overseas.
