Laptop decision making and purchasing !?!?

Question by Sweet P: Laptop decision making and purchasing !?!?
So I have decided to look into laptops for my next computer.

But during the process of looking through numerous amounts of laptops, I have ended up in a mess of a mess.

I would really appreciate it if you could recommend something based on my needs listed below.

I really need a computer that has the following:
1) a good hard drive
2) lots of RAM
3) great graphics card ( primarily for movies,tv, music, photoshop, photos, etc. I am not a hard-core gamer so I dont need anything too amazing)
4) a decent amount of battery life
