News in the Arts: Arlington singer opening for Valli at Orpheum
Local singer Kyndall Covington of Arlington will open for pop legend Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons Saturday at the Orpheum. Covington, 19, a junior theater major at the University of Memphis, is a fast-rising talent who was a finalist in the eighth annual Orpheum Star Search. In addition, Covington has opened shows for Grand Ole Opry great Jim Ed Brown and performed at Walt Disney World.
