Day 56; The Funnies

I’m so tired, of so many things. I’m tired of the homework, the lack of sleep, the responsabilities, the cries. I’m tired of the disappointments, of the lack of money, of the fear, of the failed american dream that mocks me in movies and usic. I’m tired of people’s fake realities and how much they cling onto them.

A couple of months ago, this one girls I like to call my best friend, broke into my locker. She left me the funny pages off her sunday paper. The comics all had silly comments written all over them and the sudoku was uberly circled and filled with arrows for me to enjoy. She also left an orange paper crane, and that day she definetly made me smile.

It’s funny how the smallest things can make your day.

Today I needed a little pick me up and so, with a memory in one hand and the newspaper in the other I took out the funny pages to look at them once more and be reminded of silly things, of friendship, and that one person who always matches with me and says things at the same time. Even though we never plan it.
