Yes to PG 13, No to R21
YES to a PG13 rating for movies and video, but no to R21 movies in heartland cinemas or on video. The Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts (MICA), in its response to the Censorship Review Committee’s (CRC) recommendations on Wednesday, said it has accepted more than 80 per cent of the proposals in a 128-page report two weeks ago.

‘Bonnie And Clyde’ Director Arthur Penn Dies
After first making his name on Broadway as director of the Tony Award-winning plays The Miracle Worker and All the Way Home , Arthur Penn rose as a film director in the 1960s, his work inspired by the decade’s political and social upheaval. He died of congestive heart failure Tuesday night at his home in Manhattan.
