‘ Conviction ’ director Tony Goldwyn never lost faith in film
The new Hilary Swank movie “ Conviction ” is based on the true-life story of Betty Anne Waters, a single mother who, convinced that her brother Kenny had been wrongly convicted of murder, put herself through college and law school so that she could work for his release. It was a supreme act of faith that spanned 18 years.
