Patagonia ambassador and Adventure Film Festival founder Jonny Copp explores the long process of making alpine climbing trips a reality — from the inspiration, through the training, the partnership and the risk, to the elusive summit — via footage from climbs in the Himalayas, Patagonia, Kashmir and other steep places. Update: It’s with great heartache that we report the deaths of Jonny Copp, Micah Dash (also featured in this film) and Wade Johnson on Mount Edgar (6818 meters/22368 feet) in China. This film is a cherished reminder of our lost friends.
