I have been trying to find an agency or an agent who is interested in reading my small portfolio of work I’ve done so far. I’ve basically had emails sent back with the same old rubbish

“We dont accept unsolicitated material” or they want a “writing CV” of the previous published work.

It’s very frustrating and it makes you question your own determination. It doesn’t help when you see so many people earning money from the amount of crap shown on TV>

Try entering competitions. That can get you attention from people in the industry.
