Attend trade shows, walk showrooms, introduce yourself to potential mentors, join the Lions Club, Rotary Club and local Chamber of Commerce. Enter competitions for new inventions and product submission. Talk to people, ask questions and listen closely to the answers. The more you network, the easier it becomes.
