I have (I believe) a really good idea for a book or a movie. Aside from writing it out, what do I do to get it published as a book or made into a movie? I’m not looking for an independent movie company, I want my book/movie to be known.

doesnt matter what you want. you could have the best book in the world, you gotta prove yourself like everyone else. Not to mention an idea is so broad, it might seem good now, but wont once its written out. A good writter can make any idea good , but a good idea cant make any writer good.
