Making a movie for school?

Question by just life: Making a movie for school?
I was just wondering, if I wanted to make a movie what kind of camera would I need? Also, since I don’t really know how to make a movie, would it be difficult to learn how to edit and such, as well as adding words into the movie? Thank you for your answers, I really need to know if I want to make a movie, haha 🙂

For school? Why do you not just shoot it with a regular handheld camcorder? Do they require a professional camera and a separate sound track which you have to have a special machine to time properly and edit?? That can not even be done by one person it will take forever and a day to do all of this. You need crew, not just you for this. What kind of school will ask of such a thing? No just get out your Sony HandyCam and have a go. It will be fine. You can use software to edit and add sounds.
