Any ideas for a movie poster based on the novel the Chrysalids by John Wyndham?

After looking up the proper definition of ” chrysalid” and reading several descriptions of the book by Wyndham………what visuals came to mind were…….
The creation of a new age…a new people….fear of the unknown…..
I visualized a dark sky background…..a crumbled ancient city landscape at the bottom of the page…..with a giant glass test tube rising up near the center….inside the test tube is a moths cocoon…..inside the cocoon is a mans body in the fetal position…….
now scattered throughout the city in the background are tinier similar test tubes……getting smaller as to add to the effect that they are further away throughout the city……directly behind the largest central test tube is a mushroom cloud rising up……..
Sketch this out step by step…….then tighten up the pic a bit with just a few details…….now tape it to the wall in front of your drawing desk and stair at it a bit……see what else comes to mind….before you begin the final drawing……..
