I am making a short film about the beauties of the common things that are taken for granted. I am the only one involved in the making of the movie. I have a tripod, but are there any tips anybody can give me to make a decent short film?

Make sure you edit it alot, do lots of effects and explosions everywhere. Include heavy metal music in the background.
