Be original and creative! There’s an expression that applies here- “write what you know”. So, find an idea, preferably one that you have experience with, and pursue it. Look at various cinematography and directing techniques, and think about what kind of look you want and what you want your film to say. You’re making a short movie, so whatever you include as part of the plot is integral! Good luck!
