what is a moderate way to start – I guess I need a decent camcorder and software?? Right now I have been using a little Flip Camera and am ready to upgrade – – but expense, value for money and ease of use would be priorities..

Hey Spanky! I began making family movies with a re-conditioned camera,from a local outfit.Pawn shop,or on-line. The features vary,depending upon which model you choose. Software is dependent upon what would be compatiable with your system. See you @ the Academy Awards!
