Question by Blake M: making powerpoints movies?
how do i turn a powerpoint, with a song, into a movie that can play in a dvd player. I.E. steps to do it, or preferably free, software that could do it?

There is no simple converter. However you can create a “powerpoint” in windows movie maker.

View the powerpoint presentation in full screen mode and take screenshots of each of the slides (using the print screen button and pasting into paint)…note that you have to do this one slide at a time [view in full screen, print scrn, open paint, paste & save, view next slide in full screen and so on]

After you have pics of all of your slides, import the pictures into windows movie maker (free with your computer) and set the time to display each picture. Then add the background music track and export the file as a movie file. Then burn the movie file to a dvd using your preferred burning utility.
