Judgement day is coming. Are you prepared? After obtaining all the Navi chips, Mayl e-mails us about a secret area in Den Area 3 that only certain qualified Navis may enter. Yes, it’s time to face off with Bass, because no Battle Network game is complete without an appearance from him. However, he is by no means a push over in this game. In fact, the worst we can do to him is tear his cape up a little in the end. This battle does a good job at making you feel helpless against Bass and makes you realize how powerful he really is as his attacks take out massive chunks of your HP, and even your most powerful attacks only dent him a tiny bit. It’s definitely an interesting secret boss, arguably the toughest fight in the game and serves as a decent build up for the inevitable encounters in the rest of the Battle Network series.
