NX3035 high performance alloy binder with increased thermal conductivity dramatically improves thermal shock resistance thus making it suitable in wet cutting where conventional cermets exhibit inconsistent and unpredictable performance. NX3035 high performance alloy binder has dramatically improved the bond between wear resistant particles in the substrate. This improved bond is the key to avoiding abnormal damage -thermal cracking and micro-chipping- and providing consistent surface finishes and tool life typical of cermets but until now elusive in wet applications.
