MN Business Pitch

This is the project assigned in my audio production class. The goal was to start a 21st century record label. Then create a two minute commercial to sell the company to potential investors. I had to come up with a company logo, business proposal, script, storyboard, voice over actor, background music, sound effects, as well as static and motion graphics. Tools used were Adobe After Effects 7, Illustrator CS2, Photoshop CS2, and Premiere 1.5 Pro. Pro Tools HD with the ins and outs of the interface connected to an analog mixer. The internet was the source of all graphics. I compiled graphics from different sources to go along with the theme of the company. Music was extracted from my personal CD collection. And the sound effects were either created by myself or taken from SFX libraries at school. Volunteer voice-over actors were found using Craig’s List, then recorded at the school’s studio. Compressor was used to create a 5.1 surround audio file. DVD Studio Pro was used to mux the 5.1 AC3 audio with the MPEG-2 video and then burned onto a DVD. The original is DVD quality with a 5.1 surround audio track. Created in spring of 2007.
